The film revolves around a young man who is facing a number of problems in his life, but is doing everything for his love interest. The movie begins with Adhi (Arya) confessing to a murder that he committed 15 years ago, that left a family member dead and the other severely injured. He tells that he was falsely accused of killing them as they had many enmities with their neighbors, friends and family members due to their cheating nature. He was imprisoned for the crime and is completely ruined from prison. Adhi's objective is to find the real culprit behind these crimes so he can get back his family name. He visits the home of the accused person, where he gets a chance to meet with him after 15 years of imprisonment. After this meeting, Adhi tells his family members that he did not commit any crime at all and works hard to get out of jail. The movie then rewinds back to show how Adhi's life was ruined by everyone including people from his own family. Adhi, his first love interest Kokila and her Brother Raghava were orphans living with their uncle. Raghava was a software engineer who financially supported the family after his sister's death. Meanwhile, the other relative Periyaram wanted Adhi and his family to move out from their home as he had a grudge against Adhi's father Sivanayagan (Sivakumar) who had an affair with Periyar's wife. Adhi has a strange effect on girls, but nobody knows what happens to them later on. He meets a girl called Padma (Tamannaah) at a temple where she sees him praying for someone else.
